Hi Haley! I am biracial marriage. My husband is black and I am hispanic. Coming from a predominantly hispanic town well ALL hispanic, it was hard at first, but funny thing. After Katrina, more black people moved into the city and now it's all good. Did you have any concerns? Have you been told something? Let's talk about it. Let me know what I can do for you.
Haley I am in a biracial marriage, my husband is Puerto Rican. Yea sometimes people like stare at you, but you just have to look ahead and think that the only important thing his him.....who cares if he is a different race, all that matters is that you love each other.
Hi Haley! I'm in a bi-racial marriage. My husband is white and I'm filipino. In the beginning my family had a problem with it. My family wanted me to be traditional and marry another filipino man but I stood my ground. My husband worked his butt off showing my family that he was a great guy. Slowly but surely they finally came around. Ask your family why they are so against the person your going to marry. Its better to have a man, no matter his color, treat you with respect and dignity you deserve than a man whos the right color treat you with disrespect. I'm here if you need to talk to someone.
Hi Haley
My husband and I are a biracial couple we have been happily together for 20 years!!
What kind of advise or help do you need??
Hi Haley. I have been happily married to my husband who is Korean/Black for over 14 years now. There have been times that it was an issue for people, but we are very happy and our love doesn't see color. I couldn't be happier with the man that I married! He treats me with respect, loves me, is a great father to our 3 children and I think that is all that matters!
Hi Hailey, Yes I am a 54 year old white woman who only has dated and married a black men (ex-husband retired Air Force.) We have 3 beautiful children who are all in their 20's, who havent had that many problems being bi-racial, and if they have we talked about it and or may have confronted the person who have had "issues". When I was younger I had more problems from people who judge just by color of skin, called names etc, but i have stood up for what i believe.
What type of advice are you looking for? What concerns are you having?
I, too, am in an interracial marriage. I have three grown children who are biracial as well as two grandchildren. I have had several biracial relationships over the past 30 years. What kinds of issues are you having?
Hi! I am in a biracial marriage. My husband is white and I am black, plus he is 4 years younger than me. Looking at us you would never no that I am the (older) one. Sometimes we get stares. Both of our families are very excepting although it took my family a little longer to come around since this is my second marriage.
What questions do you have?
Hi Haley, I am in a biracial marriage as well. I am white and my husband is Half Korean and Half Mexican. We get alot of animosity toward our relationship from random people on the street. Alot of Hispanic women we know feel like we should not be together because I am white, Even though in my opinion he looks more Korean (Almost Philipino looking, but not quite). I just ignore what people say, he is the LOVE of my life, and i have NO DOUBT our 1/2 white 1/4 mexican and 1/4 Korean babies wont be BEAUTIFUL.
I'm white and my husband is black. It never occurred to either of us that we were different- until we started getting comments made back and forth by other soldiers. Pretty childish. What is this, 1965?!

Happy Birthday To...
