Good morning ladies!
I'm not sure if this is how I post to your discussion board but I am giving it a try. I'm Cindy and my son Cory just joined the Army. He is going through basic training and graduates Nov 6th. I am so greatful for the Army because he loves it .. no I mean REALLY loves it. The harder the drill srgts are on him the more be loves it. He has finally found his place in this world. I have posted pics of us - very sad that his father has terminal cancer and we had to bring cory home for 4 days this past weekend. He is strong so I know he will pull it all together.

Hi Cindy! Welcome to NAMMS, I'm glad you're here. You posted just fine...we do have a discussion started already for introductions but that's ok. Wow, Cory REALLY loves the Army huh? That's outstanding. That must mean he's already a soldier and they don't have much molding to do.
I'm sorry to hear of his father. I know that is a difficult transition but I hope the time spent with him was meaningful and special.
