I am married to an Army National Guardsman. He is currently deployed to Afghanistan, due home next summer.

Hello! My husband is third generation Army National Guard. We have been married for almost 10 years and Bren through several deployments. Welcome tp the Guard family!

Hi, I'm new to the site and to the ARNG, my fiance left one week ago for his first deployment and I'm on the crazy roller coaster ride of emotions - pride, loneliness, freedom, sadness...but I know we'll get through it just fine! Any other NG spouses in the central CT/Western MA area? Struggling to meet local people, esp. ones who understand the Army, since I just moved for my job. Glad to meet you all!

Hi! I am an ANG wife as well. My husband is currently in Egypt. This is my first ANG deployment... but not my first total. We spent many years active with quite a few deployments. You are right... they never get easier... you just deal with them better. I actually think they get harder as the kids get older :( Welcome to the site!
