Comment by Lori Thueme on August 30, 2011 at 9:30pm Ladies, I am proud to share with you a newly released AF video featuring Combat Controllers. My son Tyler is at the following times in the video:
at 59 seconds he is standing all by himself with his arms crossed, then you see the back of his head close up at the pool at 3:43, then he is running right in front of the camera through the woods at 3:55.

Comment by Lori Thueme on August 29, 2011 at 1:02pm Thanks, Tiffany we're from Nebraska so we know how to handle tornados and blizzards but hurricanes are another story. The base is in Jacksonville, NC parts of the base are on the coast but housing is back a few miles.
The kids have gone to the emergency prepardness meetings and have told me they are doing most of your suggestions. They have a dog so they're worried that if things do turn bad they will have a hard time going someplace with the dog. Last night the got motel reservations made inland and will go there once Brian is told he can leave the base. I'm feeling better knowing they have a plan in place.
