Luck O' The Irish To You!

We all need a healthy dose of luck, magic, and happy endings now and again, so this month

we'll be reading The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks!  I've read many of this popular author's books, and this one is my favorite by far (Safe Haven, just out this year, coming in a close second)!

His website is at http://www.nicholassparks.com/ and has lots more books and movies of his to choose from.  I always like authors who write prolifically because then I can enjoy them for many weeks to come (or as fast as I can read their books cover-to-cover!).

I think you'll fall in love with the lucky characters in this month's book!  Enjoy!

Reading gives you a chance to escape to a world that you can create in your own mind and just enjoy all the good things that come out of the books. I also find reading books passes the time when the little one is napping and it helps me cope with my husband being deployed.

This might sound a little corny but I figured that I would suggest it. I think we all know about the "Twilight" Saga? Well I managed to stumble upon this book called "Nightlight", I am reading it now and it is pretty funny. The book is mocking the Saga, I do find it entertaining. I hope others do too.

I am a huge, huge reader! I love reading a variety of genres. I tend to gravitate toward Christian fiction, women's fiction, and some romantic suspense.

Yeah the movies aren't that great really but I read the books before they came out (the Twilight ones) and they're a lot better. I don't know why they're so appealing really. lol Can't answer that one for you :p

What a great idea for a group! Right now I'm re-reading "The Dream Giver" by Bruce Wilkenson. VERY insightful book that tells the story of Ordinary who is a Nobody and leaves his Comfort Zone in search of his Big Dream. Along the way he meets other Nobodies and faces Giants, The Wall of Fear, and eventually Faith who leads him along the way. I love this book! The first half is the story, the second half is the explanation and how it applies to the reader.

Holla if you've read it!
