Getting ready to move to Pendleton but I am not sure which housing to request. I have talked to housing and looked online. I really like the San Onofre I but if my husband works on mainside how long should he expect to commute. I know the housing site said 22 miles but Im not sure how the traffic is there. Can anyone help?

Hey my name is Kim.

I have been married to my Marine for over two years and we have a 5 month old little boy. My husband doesn't really want to hang out with the people in his unit and since I am a stay-at-home mom I don't really have any other way to make friends. I would love to meet some new people (with or without kids). We currently live in Vista but are looking to move on base. Maybe we could do a meet up with a few people? Hope to hear from you!

Hey everyone! I just found this website and thought I would join. I moved out here to be with my husband in the beginning of June. I just got a great job, but have low hours since I am just starting out. My husband is deploying with 2-5 in February. His MOS is 4612. Just thought it would be nice to meet some people who are in the same situations :)

Hello all- I moved out here to be with my husband in May and am looking to meet fellow Camp Pendleton wives that live near me. I live quite a ways from Oceanside and the main part of base- Aliso Viejo. Anyone live in San Clemente and north? But I'd love to meet girls from all parts of the area. :) My hubby is 1st CEB btw.

Hello Everyone,

My name is Emily and i just recently married a wonderful U.S. Marine. I am currently going though some difficult times with making the decision to move out to California or not. I need some support. Sadly my family is not being supportive about the decisions I have made so far so i need some more help. I have a job and college i am attending in Michigan but my new husband wants me to be out in California with him. I am torn and i need help. How do i do this? I will miss my family and friends so much. How did you all get though the tough move?

Hi everyone :) My husband's first duty station is Pendleton & he'll be arriving next week (still in 29 Palms for MOS school). We've got an apartment off-base in Oceanside & I'm always eager to meet other wives in the area :)
