hi my name is erin. me and my bf also have a 8 month old baby boy. my bf is currently in texas at his job school he will be home on the 15th of this month. he leaves the 29th of this month for japan for 18 months. We arnt able to go with him. we havnt seen him since may. he left for basic exactly 1 month after our boy was born. we are currently living in wyoming with his parents. I think this is where we will be until he comes home from japan. its pretty hard. there is nothing in wyoming and i dont know anyone else who is going through the military life aswell.

I posted on the front page before this was started so i will re-post :) I'm from San Diego, Ca. I met my husband when he became stationed at MCAS Mirimar. I joined the site because we're newly married, and being a military wife is all new to me. Our first deployment begins this month! I just thought i would join something that allowed me to talk to other people who are going through or are going through the same thing i am.

awe im sorry he has to go to japan i cant believe there sending him there with a kid lucas was the only reason ry got to stay here bc half his unit in mos went to japan. im sure thats so hard for you! Thats what where here for not many people understand what its like having your loved one being gone so much and how much they miss. ry was gone for 3 months after lucas was born and we went to see him at mos he left they day he was born so i know how it is with a baby and no daddy

Hi everyone! My name is Carla and I am originally from FL, my husband as well. We are currently stationed in 29 Palms. We live a nice little drive from base but we can't live in base housing because of our animals. We have two to many to legally live on base. We have lived in 29 twice and in SC as well for a few years.

Kayla, I'm from Knoxville, Tennessee! I met my husband in high school, we were homecoming king and queen (what a cliche). He is at Camp Geiger right now and i will be going up there at the end of this month to watch him graduate, so I'll be kinda near you Brittney!

yes you will :) Geiger is sooo small lol and all the have on base is Wendys and a pizza place lol but im sure you cant wait to see him:)!

It is really hard. i dunno how im going to do when he actually leaves for japan. he was told that if we would have gotten married before he went to basic then he would have gotten stationed in the states. that would have been nice to know then. of course he was supposed to leave like 8 months before he actually did for basic but they kept messing things up. he got a call one day and his recruiter said you are leaving for basic in two days. it wasnt really the best situation. our baby was just a month old.

Hi! I'm Rebecca and my husband's name is Andrew. I'm originally from Yorba Linda, CA and he's from Rancho Cucamonga, CA. We met on eHarmony and he didn't say anything about being a Marine on his profile. Currently he's stationed at MCAS Miramar and I'm staying in my condo in Yorba Linda since we don't know where he's going to be in the next couple of months. Plus I actually just had foot surgery today so I'm not going anywhere for the next 6 weeks.

Hey hey! I'm Heather and I live in Wisconsin. My fiance is stationed at 29 Palms, but is currently serving in Afghanistan. We're used to the whole long distance thing since we've been together over two years and the entire relationship has been long distance. He only gets to come home for short three day weekends for certain holidays and ever so often he'll save up enough leave to stay home for a while..so needless to say I am so sick of this distance and I cannot wait for his enlistment to be up in a little over a year!! :-D I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel....

I am from NC and my husband is also stationed at New River. We also live in New Bern as well. I have a 2 year old daughter and an 18 month old son.

Hello everyone! I'm Casey and my husband and I are both from Pennsylvania. He is currently in afghanistan and I moved back home until he gets back. When he gets back we'll be back at MCAS New River. Would love to meet new wives who know what it's like to have to go through this life! Being in Pennsylvania makes it hard to find people that can relate!
