I am a Army mother-in-law. My son-in-law and daughter are station in Ft. Hood, Texas. I don't have anyone that I can really talk to about having children in the Army Forces and not getting to see them or my grandchildren like I use to. Just need to share with other mothers that understand what I'm going through.

The two hardest days in my life as his mother were the day he left for boot camp and the day last week when that bus pulled away taking my "boy" so far away. God speed to all of our soldiers!

Can't wait. I live in California, I'm a full time student and have two other amazing boys who in the next 3 years will be enlisting as well. All in different branches, should make for an interesting Thanksgiving!! haha..

My son was in the delayed enlistment program as a senior. He is now beginning BCT. I miss him terribly but I am also terribly proud. He is so committed to and passionate about this life that he has chosen. I hope to meet other army moms because I don't think someone can relate if they do not have a child in the army. It is great to be here and I look forward to getting to know you.
