Hi all I am an Army mom who's son is Infantry and stationed at Ft Knox. He is the only one of my 4 kids to leave the state of Washington where we all reside.

He is doing well but miss him sooo much!

Thank you for letting me join, it is nice to have other to chat with who understand the emotions.

Hello,

I am a Army mother-in-law. My son-in-law and daughter are station in Ft. Hood, Texas. I don't have anyone that I can really talk to about having children in the Army Forces and not getting to see them or my grandchildren like I use to. Just need to share with other mothers that understand what I'm going through.

Hello!  I am an Army Mom with a son stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.  He just left this past week for his first deployment to Afghanistan.  The two hardest days in my life as his mother were the day he left for boot camp and the day last week when that bus pulled away taking my "boy" so far away.  God speed to all of our soldiers!

Hello! Just wanted to introduce myself. I am an Army Mom with a son in Fort Carson Colorado. We are new to the Army family he has only been in for 8 months, but these eight months have bought many changes. I am hoping to find lots of support and in return I hope I can help other Moms. We are all in this together. God Bless.

Hello! Just wanted to introduce myself. I am an Army Mom with a son in Southern Afghanistan, just left from his R&R. Only 8 months to go!! Can't wait. I live in California, I'm a full time student and have two other amazing boys who in the next 3 years will be enlisting as well. All in different branches, should make for an interesting Thanksgiving!! haha..

I am glad to have found this website! I have browsed through many sites that claim to offer support for moms, but most of them are full of link rot and sales sites.

My son was in the delayed enlistment program as a senior. He is now beginning BCT.  I miss him terribly but I am also terribly proud.  He is so committed to and passionate about this life that he has chosen.  I hope to meet other army moms because I don't think someone can relate if they do not have a child in the army.  It is great to be here and I look forward to getting to know you.
