So 1st thing, Im a mom then a wife! being a mom is the hardest job there is plus I have the "job" of being an army wife!
Ive been an Army wife for abour 4 years, but I cannot seem to find any other wives that I can relate to.....so I guess thats a good thing bc now I started my own candle business.
I never had anyone to talk to so I thought id throw my extra time into something I love to do.
Am I the only one who feels like she cannot relate to other wives...We've been to 3 different duty stations in 4 years and in those 4 years I found one wife who i talk to, but i just dont have that bond.
I hope you all can get a chance and check us out and few our items. I have a red, white and blue candle that i just love and is my fav. item of mine!
Come be a friend on facebook as well just look up Candle Maker

Permalink Reply by Amyelitza Rodriguez on December 13, 2010 at 10:19am I understand you! I been a military spouse for 12 years and I'm a mother of 3 boys (12 yrs, 10 yrs and 5 years), I been stationed in 3 different posts and I feel like you....I only can say that is hard, and sometimes is better to be alone that had a bad company. With of all of these years, I can say that only had maybe 3-4 wives that I keep contact with, and pretty much they used to be old neighbors...But is hard to find wives that you can truly share together, because sometimes...But you can find them. I'm glad that I love to only dedicated to my kids and all my hobbies....Because I'm a cake decorator, I do knitting, crochet, and many other arts & crafts....Having my husband most of the time gone on deployments....I decide to going to take classes to keep myself busy.....Right now, I'm going to my 6th deployment and I still can say is not easy. But one thing, I learn that as a military wife, to survive by myself, and my kids. The only group I can count is on my family, my mom, my dad, my brother and extended family that give me support are the ones that I call them, when I feel alone or I need someone to talk to. Well, I hope my comment can help you a little bit.
