Working on my dissertation which is examining if multiple moves of service members influence third and 6th grade Virginia reading scores of their children

Hi everyone,

My name is Stephanie Teixeira and I have been a proud Army wife for the past 18 years and I am finally trying to finish my dissertation.  I am looking at the effects of multiple moves for children of service members on the Virginia Standards of Learning (reading) test.  I am trying to determine if the more moves we have at the earlier grades or later grades has an impact on their reading abilities.  Since my children have moved already 7 times it is a big worry for me.  If you would be willing to participate or know someone else who would like more information let me know. I am looking for students that were in Virginia for 3rd and/or 6th grade to complete a quick questionnaire and provide the SOL score for that grade level.  You can contact me at my ako if you are interested, I sure could use the help.
