My husband just got deployed to Afghanistan today and Im taking it pretty hard. How do you deal with all the emotions and still take care of a family and carry on with every day responsibilities?

We just moved to a new state and i dont know a soul here. How on earth do you make friends when your the new kid on the block??

Comment by Katie Horton on January 16, 2012 at 8:47pm I don't want to start drama but I do want the ladies who see Sarah's post and reply to it to know here in San Diego we had producers going around before trying to do a documentary and tv series on military wives. The Navy and Marine Corps put out that they do not support or sponsor these things and that if you say or do anything that can get your military member in trouble you are on your own. If you don't believe me then contact JAG at base and they will tell you. I just don't want someone hurting their family or their Sailor's career for 15 minutes of fame.

he is a navy corpsman, so he is on land....ugh!
