Hi Kimberly and welcome to San Diego!  My family and I just moved here in August.  We were stationed at MCB Quantico.  I have two boys, ages 3 and 2.  I miss having kids the age of your son.  Congrats and welcome to motherhood.

I do agree with you about missing the south.  I love the weather here but miss the Southern Hospitality.  Oh, I forgot to mention that we are originally from Bama!  Roll Tide! :)

@Denise lol yes girl! Miss the hospitality and food! Lol and thank you I love motherhood but I'll be glad to sleep again. Lol

I miss the food too.  Every now and then I will still cook some of the southern foods (mac n cheese, collard greens, fried chicken or fish, and corn bread, oh, and lets not forget about the sweet tea).  LOL!

 

You will definitely get back to the sleep, slowly but surely.  If you ever need to catch some zzz's let me know and I will come and sit and watch the baby for you while you nap.  The hubby usually works from 0730 - 1300.  Which area do you live?  We live in Mira Mesa.

No plans for thanksgiving...and cleaning and unpacking tonight. National city is near the hospital and 32nd st base.

@ Kimberly, okay.  We haven't decided what we are going to do yet either.  Our neighbors just invited us to celebrate with her family and we are open to invite others as well.  If the hubby says that's okay.  I will let her know.  Would you guys like to join us?
