Comment by Marti Knoll on February 5, 2011 at 11:35pm: OMG I would have gone crazy without heat!!!! Hope you had a generator or space heater!!! We are used to lake effect snow; but this year, has really been more like when I was young! We used to have winters like this back in the 60's 70's and 80's, (When dinosaurs roamed the earth!!) but the last few years especially mid 90's to present have been unseasonably warm, so we have not had the winters we used to have! The last 15 or so years we would get snow, then it would melt. get some more, then it would melt again. But it is really cold here, has not gotten up over 25 degrees in weeks, and at night it has been getting down below zero at times. BRRRRR! Come on Spring!

Comment by Marti Knoll on February 5, 2011 at 10:43pm: I am assuming you got some of the crappy snow we got this last week.....we got 17 inches between Tuesday and Wednesday, and it is supposed to snow everyday this week!!! Here is hoping you are staying warm!
