"
We don't accomplish anything in this world alone ... and
whatever happens is the result of the whole tapestry of one's life
and all the weavings of individual threads from one to another that
creates something."--Sandra Day O'Conner
And
what in the world is better than a community of women centered with
the common thread of our relationship with the military, and
ultimately each other! The National Association of Military Moms
and Spouses was founded on the principle that every military woman
should have a place of support, expert information, resources and
motivation to be the best she can be.
The opportunities of military moms and spouses to learn and grow
from each other, get the assistance necessary to live a successful
life, and pursue dreams and goals while being a military woman led
to the foundation of NAMMAS.
As fellow military Moms and Spouses, we recognize the need for a
complete, easy and trusted resource that will guide you with the
right information, when you need it, so you can spend your time
implementing and growing personally and professionally.
Who Should Join NAMMAS:
Women who have children of any age and are married to an active
duty, guard, or reserve member of the Armed Forces
Women who are married to an active duty, guard or reserve member
of the Armed Forces with no children
Women who have sons or daughters who are currently serving in
the Armed Forces
Women who are currently guard or reserve, and active duty women
who are making the transition to civilian life and will become a
military mom or spouse.
We recognize that women have different learning styles, different
time commitments and different levels of military experience. We
strive to provide quality, researched and tried & true
strategies in various formats to meet your personal needs while
leveraging the power of a community.
The goals of this site and the National Association of Military

easier and less stressful.
