- Hi Haley. My grandparents were a bi-racial and they were married over 50 yrs. By the way, my step-mother is an awsome and beautiful lady. I am so glad that God has blessed him with such a beautiful wife. :)

My husband and I have never really had any issues with anyone,we spent a lot of years stationed overseas where it does seem more acceptable,we just came back to the States last year and we do seem to get a few more "looks"but to be honest I just dont let it bother me because they dont know us!!Good luck with everything:-)

Kristen N said… - I don't know about Ft. Stewart but most military areas are filled with nice welcoming people. I am most concerned about finding a place to live near a good school. When i get there if you are already there when i get there maybe we could meet for lunch or something. The move will be fine i assure you just make sure your friends are on hand to talk to on the phone. Plus your daughter will keep you company. thats what helped me when i first moved to Bragg.
