I do think I have a lot of great ideas especially when it comes to the kids and deployment. One of the best things I ever did was to let one child stay up 30 minutes later than the other kids on one day a week. This way, I got one on one time with each of my four children and they each felt extra special on those nights. We would have a treat (donut, chips, piece of chocolate,...) and play a game or do a craft. It really helped out and we enjoyed it so much that we continued it after my husband came home. To this day, my kids can't wait for "THEIR" night!
