I have wondered about this as well. When my son was in the desert, he called me, but he also called my daughter in law everyday. How, and not go bankrupt? Vonage! I have it on good authority( two military wives who still use the service) that you can get plans as low as 9.99 to 24.99! I am honored to be a part of this terrific group. I am also on Facebook now and have started a separate group list for any air force moms that connect with me. Another mom whose daughter leaves for Lackland the same day as my son contacted me already. It's really great to know there are so many of us out there, all pulling for each other.
