Went to bed crying and got dressed this morning to take him and broke down again as he was about to board the shuttle van. I will see him Tuesday, then not again for 8 1/2 weeks. Hi,
I am new to being a military mom, as well. My son left today for MEPS and will be sworn in, in a couple of days, which we will be at. I broke into tears last night when he hugged me goodnight.
