So, a few of the Air Force wives at JBA and I were chatting about local businesses.  You see, a few of us are self-employed and have home-bases businesses.  So we had this idea- how about we get together and host an event free of charge, where we could gather us all up and meet and greet?!  Out of this, and with the collective work of a couple of the admins on the Andrews Air Force Base Wives facebook page, the idea of JBABACS was born.

Jones && I met in Virginia Beach,Va. Three months later I moved across the country with him to where we are today, San Diego, Ca.  We have been here for almost a year now && I dont know ANYONE! Well its been 17 days since my husband left for Afghanistan.  Each day gets better, yet it gets harder.  I havent gotten a phone call in 9 days and I think that has to be the hardest part so far.  I swear every time I watch the news I just end up crying and feel ridiculous.  Especially because the news is ALWAYS on at work. Daughter left for bmt today 11-08-11

Hi to all!

Stumbled on to this site today as I was searching for information on coping with my daughter leaving for boot camp. I was just told her date is December 6th. I have to tell you all I feel like my heart is broken. Samantha is my only child and I am having a hard time imagining how I can survive not only her leaving but not having her for the holidays. Would appreciate any advice or support from other moms.

Its day 2 that hes been gone,and im still not feeling much better. My husband is really my best friend and i feel like such a b*tch for the way i acted before he left.
