BMT 11/13
My son Alex started BMT on 11/13, I flew in from VA and spent the day of departure with him. Was up there with the hardest days of my life. I heard him tell his cousin on the phone "Take care of mom for me", I cried all the way home. He called yesterday, sounds strong. I feel for every mom that has had to go through this. Thank God For the comfort he provides!

Woohoo!!!! It;s almost time for Graduation! Can't believe the time has gone by this quickly (or so it seems now), I can't wait to see my Airman Sosa, Alejandro B. 324 TRS/FLT075!
I will be flying out of Virginia on Wednesday evening and God willing, will see him at the Airman's Run on Thursday morning!
Can't wait!

I too cried the whole day and often since. Not so much tears of sadness but of being so proud. My daughter left for basic last month and with each letter I get from her makes me so happy. I am so proud of her for choosing this path in life :)
