Left for basic Jan. 10th, 2012, need address

I just received a call around midnight and the connection was so bad that i could barely make out my daughters address. I was just wondering if anyone else had a child that arrived there yesterday or if anyone has a clue as to where I can get this information. Sorry, I guess you might need to know that she is in the Air Force!!

When you receive the address, it will include the TRS( training squadron ) and FLT( flight) number. You can join a discussion group with other families in your daughter's flight. It was so nice connecting with others that had loved ones in the same fight that they were training with every day. We all met before the Airmans run with our banners to cheer on flight as one big group. We still communicate with each other as our sons have transitioned to tech school. The first three weeks are the hardest, but it does get better. Don't be surprised if you don't get another real phone call for a few weeks. The calls will start coming in. They can come at anytime before lights out, so keep your phone on you at all times. If you get a chance to check out AF WingMoms, be sure to read all the information in the links on the left of the page beginning with "start here". Tons of information in those links. They will post pictures on the BMT FB site usually around WOT( week of training) 5 or 6. Look for pictures from WG 12017. That should be your daughters WG(week group ). (((Hugs)) to you as you begin your BMT journey with your AB(airmen basic...this is what they are referred to when in training...or trainee). Welcome to the AF family!

But I did received a postcard notification in the mail about a week later with his mailing address. Same as Telice Ostrinski mentioned. When ever you do get it, I know for a fact that those future Airmen thrive on letters from home! <3 Just no care packages. ;-)

Comment by Telice Ostrinski on January 12, 2012 at 12:09pm: My son left on the 10th as well. We got the "I've arrived" phone call at 2 a.m. but did not get an address. He mentioned it would come in the mail. If you don't get it in 10 or so days I found some this info online...
