MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: TEHLIA LAUERMAN

This month's featured member spotlight belongs to Tehlia Lauerman! Tehlia is an Army wife, blogger and business owner! She is also the first member of our MOB directory where she lists her beautiful handmade crocheted scarves in her online boutique. Read about her musings on her blog, "Raw Adventures of an Army Wife". Here's a little about Tehlia in her own words:

"Officially I prefer to be called, THE BEST DAMN ARMY WIFE EVER! However, BDAWE wasn’t working for me. So, LittleT, will do just fine. My Army days started 8+yrs ago when I married The Big O. Along with my Army Life, I am a Raw Food fanatic, Yoga enthusiast, Reader of most things, Writer (at least in my mind), Crocheting maniac, and Wine drinking lady."

"I have been crocheting for 10+ years, mostly blankets. Huge blankets that are time consuming monsters. I love torture apparently. Then I discovered Scarves and have been crazy about them ever since. I learned how to crochet from a pamphlet at a grocery store and a single ball of cotton yarn that was next to it. That project turned into a large blanket for my Sister and her son that was weeks away from being born. The hard thing about how I learned and how I continue to work is I never learned how to follow patterns. Which means I create each and every item from scratch, original designs conjured up from some deep part of my brain. Good for those who buy my creations... you are guaranteed to have an original One-of-a-kind Scarf around your neck. Bad, well, I guess there really isn't a bad side to that."
