The heat is almost unbearable outsite. The temp is not that high but the humidity must be 100%.

I sit at my dining room table looking out of my patio doors and can see so many neighbors prepare to PCS. Moving trucks have taken over the streets. I don't see how they can work in this heat.

I am just so thankful my time to PCS has not yet arrived. I will miss many of the great neighbors but this just means more great mil spouses will be moving in.

@Amanda, I remember living in Monterey, CA and hated the weather. It never got HOT.
@Kendra, I love living on base. Many don't but its right for my family. The schools, commissary, NEX, hospital, etc. are all within walking distance. I love it! My husbanda was in the Navy for a very long time before we decided to live on base. We were so stupid to not take advantage of base housing earlier.

Your lucky! It's not that hot where we are in CA. :( It's only in the 60s here which sucks for me cause I love the heat/summer :p
