I've been cruising this site all day (in between work) and absolutely love it. It's chuck full of information for military spouses and, from what I can tell, a shoulder when needed!
As my title says, for me, SWEATIN' HELPS! Meaning, EXERCISE has really gotten me through some tough times as I've been married to a military man for 23 years. We have two grown sons now, but, there were times when I had to do the single-parenting thing, which was doable, but NOT easy. During the tough times, I exercised. I've always been a sports fanatic, absolutely love the DALLAS COWBOYS (although I'm a New Yorker - don't ask....). But, working up a good sweat allowed me to release the frustrations, the fear, being lonely, etc., etc., while at the same time, I was able to get both mentally and physically strong. Couldn't make it to the gym, no worries, I worked out at home!
I highly recommend exercise! It's cathartic, it clears the mind and you're able to cope and deal with whatever....
