Taking the first steps from an Airman to an Airmans Wife!

After a very trying few months for us last year and some very long discussions, I decided to leave the military. My #1 reason is the kids, with my youngest being so sick last year and needing to hire nanny just to get us thru the flu season it just hit home for me. This could be our life. He could never "grow out of this" as the doctors put it. What would we do then? Continue to spen thousands a month on child care, entrusting our child to strangers. Plus I just wasnt happy. I mean seriously if my kids are sick I'm not happy in my job....really it's a matter of timing. So that's that as of Monday I am civilian. I'm no longer active duty. Now I am an airmans wife. What an adjustment, I think I'm ready. But I am nervous. I'm nervous about taking this step, but also excited! We can afford for me to stay home and I get to watch, teach, and see my babies grow.
So this is me, this sums up the last few months.

I am so proud of you!  I know this was a hard decision to make, but you will be happier and have lower blood pressure just staying home and loving those beautiful boys of yours!  I see Mindy is busy sewing and crafting, and having play dates etc. ---hopefully you will find your niche as a stay at home mom and be happy in it!  I know I cannot wait for you to come home to Michigan, I toook a ton of pictures last weekend for you to look at, I just have not put them up for you yet...I will make Brianne do it tonight or tomorrow!!  Again I love you and am very proud of you.
