Hey I saw your post on Camp Pendleton wives' main page and just wanted to let you know that I just went through something similar. I don't know how much of school you have left but at the beginning of my first semester of senior year of college I married my Marine and for the rest of the year I just wanted to leave school and be with him. But he loved me enough to convince me and assure me that I needed to finish up and graduate. So I was in VA and he was in CA while I finished up college and two days after graduation we drove across the country so I could move out here with him. I just know that had I left school, it would've been sooo hard for me to get back into it. I want to continue school and get another degree, but I just have no idea when I'll have the time and motivation to do that and know the same would've been true had I not finished my first degree. It's a tough decision and I have a lot of friends who chose to leave school to be with their man. But I leave in Aliso Viejo now, so when you do get out here I'd love to meet you. Let me know what you decide! Best of luck!

It will be hard but well worth it. I've only been out here for a month so far and it has been hard being away from everyone and everything I know but it is worth it to have my husband come home to me just about everyday.

hey. I saw your post on the camp pendleton marine wives group and I just went through the same thing. I am from NC, was enrolled in college there and  have lived there forever and it was a really tough decision for me to leave. Honestly I thought leaving my family and friends would be the hardest thing I would ever do but then I realized it would be even harder for me to be apart from my husband when I had the choice to be with him(unlike when they are deployed, you can't do anything then about being apart from them). As long as you keep contact with your friends and family back home, then its not bad at all. And for college, I am now still enrolled in the same school, I am just doing all of my courses online.
I'm not sure if that helped you with your decision but no matter what you decide, either is going to be hard but you just have to figure out which sacrifice would be easier for you to make.
Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Best of luck!
